Burton Emmett was involved with the American Institute of Graphic Arts and was a print collector. Emmett wrote to Carl Zigrosser about prints and about jurying. A later letter from Gaillard F. Ravenel, working with Emmett's print collection at the University of North Carolina, brought a letter from Zigrosser with some memories of Burton Emmett and suggesting others who knew Emmett.
